We had such an amazing time in both Colorado and South Dakota! I hope our kids remember this experience for the rest of their lives. History in the making... Past, Present and Future. We had a few detours on our way home... through South Dakota and Missouri. Our first stop was at The World's Only Corn Palace... Mitchell Corn Palace in South Dakota. Our second stop was Sioux Falls, South Dakota after enjoying dinner in Sioux Falls, we headed on to see the water falls in the heart of the city. We decided to spend one more night in a hotel, before completing out road trip and going home. As soon as we hit the Missouri/S.Dakota line (late that night), we dove into the hotel (not even taking our bags in) and crashed for the night.
We woke up the next morning, enjoyed a quick breakfast, then drove home. Although, we did stop one more time in Joplin to explore the falls (since it had been raining for a couple days). It was a great time, but it was, also, nice to get back home!
***Some of the pictures and places that we visited on this trip in Colorado, burned down due to wild fires scurrying through the area... right after we left. We couldn't believe it! Thank you, God, for the experience there and for allowing us to see these beautiful lands before the fire took part of it away... and thank you God for avoiding us in our travels there! Scary!

Quick Stop in Joplin - Almost home!!!
Thanks to my husband, Kevin, for such an amazing experience! He is such a great trip planner... never leaving out a detail! This will go down in history... This concludes our trip! Thanks for reading!
