Oh my! What a beautiful place to be! There is nothing like in on the planet. The Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. The only place you can find Snow-Capped Mountains bordering the massive Sand Dunes down below. We spent the entire day here... enjoying it's beauty. Kevin and Peyton decided to be spontaneous and hike the dunes by foot to the peaks... Hours high. Kevin had blisters on the bottom of his feet because of the fine sand cutting his feet as he excitedly hiked an interesting land mass. Peyton (our son) decided to sand board down parts of the dunes. He tumbled time and time again, but loved it! One of the neatest parts of our Sand Dunes experience was getting to see Kevin's parents there! They were in New Mexico for business and drove 5 hours north to meet us there. How incredibly sweet and exciting!
