Ringing in 2013 - Happy New Year!

This New Year's Eve, we reflect on 2012 and what a crazy year it was! We are so very thankful for all our blessings this past year and for good health in our family! God is good!

We spent New Year's Eve with friends at Metro Italiano Restaurant in Bentonville. Our good friends, Inglis', own this cute new Italian restaurant. The food is yummy and atmosphere is quaint! Our good friends, Cody/Christian; Keith/Kris; David/Shannon and so many others joined us.

For once, I left behind my camera to enjoy a night without my hands tied up, so we don't have many pictures from this night, but Shannon was able to capture and email some fun shots to me from this evening!

Happy New Year 2013!!

Cheers to 2013!

Christmas Time in the Yingst Family!

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family... We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas with your lovely families! Happy Birthday to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Khloe was completely ecstatic about Christmas this year. She completely understood Santa and his travels... and his workshop production and elf friends in the North Pole! Khloe was a brave girl this year - She knew exactly what she wanted for Christmas and went to visit Santa TWICE to tell him! LOL

Khloe and Santa:

We started the Elf on the Shelf Tradition in our home this year... We adopted our Elf from the North Pole. We named her Holly. Khloe was so excited to find Holly each morning that she woke up in the month of December! She was very sad when Holly left for the North Pole until next year...

Here's our Elf, Holly:

Both the kids had big requests for presents this year... as most kids do I'm sure! Khloe's top request was Furreal Butterscotch Pony and Peyton's was Beatbox by Dr Dre. To their surprise, they both got their top requests this year!

Here are some cute random pictures of our kids opening their gifts on Christmas morning! We love Christmas time in our household! We love our kids even more!! XO

We had a very Merry Christmas... I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, as well!!

Christmas Photo Sessions 2012

This year, I wanted a couple color options for my kids' Christmas pictures.

One of the photographers we always use (who lives right around the corner from us) was using pastels and colorful settings for her backgrounds, so it was perfect with one set of clothes I had picked out for the kids! Myra is always so great to work with and so convenient for us!

The other photographer was a well-know, highly accredited photographer in our area. It was our first time to work with her. And we loved Katie! She was so unique and used a very modern silver and chevron background... which worked well for our second choice of outfits for Christmas/New Year's outfits.

Thanks for letting me share with you, my friends! XO
