Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: Experiencing the Up Close & Personal Giraffe Experience!:
The LARGEST Giraffe Zoo in the Country is right in Colorado Springs. And you better believe we were there to see them up close! What an experience. The zoo was amazing... but, mostly, the Giraffes made us the most excited. Visitors could buy lettuce and feed the Giraffes right out of their hands. Yes, we did... and boy was it funny! Who knew their tongues were so muscular and looong! It was a hoot! Khloe and Peyton just giggled... Kevin and I even joined in the fun! The rest of the animals on exhibit in the zoo were pretty impressive, too. The zoo was set up to mimic their natural habitat... which, they exceeded this experience (in my personal opinion).
