Garden of the Gods Club Resort - (Our Home for 3 Days!):
Can I just say WOW! Kevin certainly did a fantastic job finding this gorgeous place for us to stay 3 of the 12 days of our trip. Right in the heart of Colorado Springs. The view from our back patio was unbelievably gorgeous. Starring at Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods... Breathless... Just breathless. One of our favorite memories of this particular resort was the wild bunnies and deer in our backyard (completely unafraid of human beings). I guess the bunnies stay close to these resorts to feel protected from the predators that hunt them. Wildlife everywhere. So many athletes in the city... professional bikers, racers, and the list goes on. The climate here is dry but you feel amazing... and never tired like you are back home in all the humidity and pollen. You feel alive!
