Today, I spent a lot of the day with my little sister, Jen, my son, Peyton, and niece, Ava. We had an action-packed afternoon! First, we took Miss Ava shopping for a new dress (and believe me... that 4-Yr old likes to shop). Then, we took her somewhere to surprise my mom (her grandma) and her parents! I can't say where that somewhere is now because her mommy happens to follow my blog... LOL! They'll see when it comes in a couple of weeks! Then, the kiddos were wanting to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and eat ice cream cones in the park. So, I stopped and bought them some Braum's goodies and took them to the park... where they played their hearts out! :o) Overall, it was a really fun day. Peyton and Ava are so sweet... he just loves her so much... he is going to be a good big brother when his own little sister gets here! My son and my nieces and nephew have so much fun with Aunt Jen (my little sister)... she is always great entertainment for them! I think she may have been having more fun than them today at the Tontitown Park! Funny!

Enjoying Gorgeous Weather at Park with Kids...
Final Decision on Khloe's Nursery!!
I finally (after all these months) decided on the nursery set (crib furniture)... My first choice was by Creations and the set was called Savannah, however, Kevin wasn't real thrilled about the set. It was kind of small. Then, we decided that the Revenna Collection by Creations was a little larger set and more modern. The only thing is that I didn't like the dresser/hutch. It was rounded and didn't display a lot of space for items I'll be using it for (dolls, picture frames, lamps, etc.) and the set was pretty masculine. A friend of ours ended up ordering that same collection for her nursery, so that made my decision a little easier... look for something similar with a larger dresser/hutch! So, after weeks (WEEKS!) of deciding, we finally agree that we really love the crib set (1000 Series) by Cocoon in the Espresso finish. It's perfect. The dresser/hutch and nighstand are one of the larger ones that The Baby's Room carries... SO much extra space for about the same cost! Yippee!
Here's the set we love... 1000 Series by Cocoon... at The Baby's Room:
We also decided on Khloe's Bedding! Hooray! That took forever as well... but, hey, had to come up with a final decision because she'll be here in 3 months! I really wanted a lot of chocolate in her nursery. Pink is my favorite color, but I didn't want to get too carried away with the pinks... so, I've incorporated sage/lime greens and tans with the pinks and chocolates! Can't wait to see what her nursery looks like when it is finally complete!!
Here's the bedding set that I LOVE... Avery Ruffled Custom Crib Bedding... Online Only! Cute, huh?!
Tell me what you think... it took FOREVER, but the decision has been made! Now, just check back for pictures of the items actually in her nursery! :o)

Last Day of Peyton's Spring Break... 3-29-09
Peyton's last day of Spring Break was pretty good. My sister, Jen, stayed the night with us Saturday night and occupied him on Sunday. Peyton had indoor baseball practice (for his team the Angels)at his coaches Auto Dealership (Gan Nunnally). Practice started at 1:30pm and wasn't over until after 3:00pm. They had practice the day before, too, but I opted not to take him because I didn't want to drive in the crazy blizzard-like weather. (Bella Vista's weather Saturday was CRAZY!!! It snowed hard, but nothing really stuck all day long.) While Peyton was practicing at the Dealership, Jen and I snuck off to Kennedy Coffee (have I ever mentioned that Kennedy Coffee is the BEST coffee shop in the world!) and had some frozen coffees. She ordered a frozen mocha and of course I got my favorite frozen goody (thanks to my cousin, Rachel, introducing me to it)... a frozen vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso! Yummy! We hung out there for a while while my sister enjoyed her view (she's 18 and thought the guy working at Kennedy Coffee was gorgeous! LOL)! She's at that age. Too funny! We left after a while and picked Peyton up from practice and stopped to eat. Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for the SECOND time this week. Peyton is trying to build up those winnings! LOL They had fun! It was packed there. Too many little kiddos for me! Ugh! Afterwards, we shopped around a little and then spent the entire evening at my mom's house in Springdale. Peyton and I didn't leave until almost 11pm.... yikes! Not good with school starting back up today! Peyton is a little under the weather with his allergies and all... he's been wheezing and having difficulties breathing while sleeping. Poor little guy! Kevin is in Mexico already... he'll be back Friday! I'm sure he's enjoying himself!! I'm leaving Thursday for Canton, Texas with my little sister and my Father-in-Law... selling their hairbows and my tutus at Trade Days in Canton. Good times! It may be my last road trip (mini trip) until little Khloe is here!
Here are some pictures of our action-packed day at Chuck E.Cheese's, yesterday...

Spring Break... Not Too Exciting This Year!
Well, so much for my all inclusive trip with my hubby to Nuevo/Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Nope... not happening for me! :( I guess that is what's expected when you're almost 7 months pregnant AND planned the trip before conceiving. Darn! Oh well... I'm sure there will still be significant traveling in the future for me! Can't wait until we get back to those days! Life is about to change as we know it... it's a little scary. :o)Anyway, Kevin will be taking his good friend Jason Wulfers on the trip in my place... they fly out this Saturday! They'll have a blast!
This is Kevin and Jason (Jason lives in Pensacola Beach, FL)...
We don't have to worry about them... we know these two will have a BLAST! LOL
Peyton has been my little buddy this week... he has just loved getting to sleep in all week. Seriously, he has been sleeping in until 10am or 11am every day! Woo Hoo for him... kids love Spring Break... Lazy Days! LOL Anyway, we've had fun staying at home this year. Yesterday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's. We had a GREAT time (Kevin was working so it was just the two of us)! I was trying to think what "too old" is for Chuck E. Cheese's, but I don't thing there is a "too old." There were teenagers there genuinely having a good time. LOL I must say... I like the place myself. Good Ole Chuck E. Cheese's... always good for great family entertainment! :o) Peyton has been saving his tickets since last summer to that place... so far he has over 2000 tickets. He can spend 50 tokens in 8 minutes... and did yesterday. He is eager to win more and more tickets. That's my boy! LOL But, the big prizes are lame, so I really think that he's wasting his time saving all those hard earned tickets. Hee hee!
Here are pictures of Peyton and I at Chuck E. Cheese's yesterday... Good Times!

6 1/2 Mos Pregnancy Pics...
We went to Kevin's parents' Ranch yesterday for lunch and to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. Kevin came up with a cute idea to drive down to the cute historic bridge in Pineville, Missouri (not too far from their ranch) and take some cute pregnancy pics outdoors on the bridge. He's funny... he loves pictures just as much as I do! He is so much fun! Anyway, we parked the car and walked down to the bridge... the day couldn't have been more perfect... the weather was really nice for once! Anyway, these are my 6 1/2 mos (almost week 27)Pregnancy Pictures. YES, I know... I already look like I'm 8 months pregnant. Weird! It's all belly (well, and a little bottom, too!! LOL)! My belly is as hard as a rock and little Khloe is kicking the you know what out of me every day... gosh, she is an active little girl! I feel good right now... still having some problems with blackouts and dizziness, but it's because she is pushing up on my spine all the time and preventing proper blood and oxygen flow to my brain. I just keep telling myself... ITS ALMOST OVER!! LOL Did I mention that I really DO NOT like being pregnant... thought I'd tell you again. Ha!
Yingst Family Gathering...
This weekend (Saturday) my mother and father-in-law hosted a small gathering of distant relatives (2nd and 3rd cousins of Kevin's dad). The purpose of the hot dog/marshmellow roast was to recognize Kevin's dad's cousin... she was in a horrific car accident in October 08 that should have killed her. However, her and her husband survived, but while in ICU they found out that she had cancer (both breast and colon cancer). She had to immediately begin Chemotherapy. We don't know Kevin's dad's cousins and distant relatives, but they were excited to have sort of a farewell party for her. We roasted hot dogs and have other items for a picnic and can't forget the smores. Yummy! LOL They finished the night off with music. Kevin's dad and his brothers/sisters are all very musically talented and can play a variety of instruments and sing to the heavens. Such talent they ALL inherited from his wonderful Grandpa Warren... who is loved and missed dearly! Kevin's first cousin Amanda was there along with her new baby Miles and her husband Matt. It was a fun night! Kevin snuck in a little basketball with the boys... lol! I just took it easy as a big pregnant woman. Ha!

Peyton's Kick Off Baseball Party...
Last night was Peyton's 1st gathering for his new baseball team this season. He was chosen to play for the Angel's in Bentonville Little League. What a great name for a baseball team... talk about feeling protected! LOL Anyway, they had their kick off party last night at the Batting cages... Pizza First, Announcements and then their first batting practice of the season. Some of his best buddies are on the team... Trey (Coach Gan's son), his favorite teacher's son, Bryan, and Chase (whose dad is assisting Gan this year with the team). Peyton and Chase were on the same Baseball Team last year and were very disappointed that they had the laziest coach in the league... luckily that coach is not coaching again this year... Woo Hoo!!!! I think they won ONE game all season last summer... Peyton was not happy! Anyway, he is on the BEST team in the 10 year old division this year! Gan Nunnally always has the best teams and he works so hard with his boys. Peyton played on Gan's football team two years ago and they almost made it to the toy bowl. The team was GREAT! Gan and Kevin are really good friends... we love the Nunnallys! We have a good looking bunch of boys on the team this year... they had a great time last night!!

Men... the Blame Game!
Why is it that when WOMEN lose something (an item), they patiently search for it until it is found... and only blame themselves? Let's gear this towards men (our husbands) for a minute. Now, why is that when MEN lose something, they get annoyed (angry sometimes) and push off the problem to their wives... all the while blaming any and EVERY one but themselves? Sorry if I sound annoyed, because I am! Grrr!! Kevin misplaced one of our cameras (our Olympus Water-Proof Digital Camera) after packing it for a trip he was going to take to Tulsa (to see a legend concert) during the Ice storm last month. Well... he ended up not going and unpacked his belongings from his vehicle. A month or so has gone by and all of a sudden he is panicking because he wants the "WATERPROOF OLYMPUS" for his Mexico Vacation that he leaves for in 10 DAYS! But, guess what?! He doesn't know where HE placed it. I have searched our entire house for the darn camera and it is MIA - which leaves him even more irate, because his trip is right around the corner and I'm sure he wants to take more pictures of underwater creatures in the Gulf of Mexico. Now, if I have put effort into searching for the camera and have had no luck finding it, wouldn't you say that I've done my part and now he must REWIND HIS BRAIN to backtrack and miraculously remember where he may have put it last month?! Just a thought! Now... can I be pregnant in peace?! LOL!!!

Peyton's New Highlights...
Last week (Thursday), I made Peyton get his hair cut. He was so sad, because he has been letting it grow out since last summer... he wanted the "Zac Efron" look and I think he could've pulled it off if I hadn't been so impatient with it. I took him to the stylist and told her to leave some length on top (to where he could still do goofy stuff with it), but to cut it short all around. He was so upset when we got in the car after his haircut. He had just gotten rid of all that hair he tried for so long to grow out. I did have some compassion for him! He doesn't realize himself how much more adorable and handsome he looks with short hair... he just doesn't get it. He cried to himself for a good hour after his haircut on the way home. He was so sad. I felt horrible, so I promised him that we could finally get highlights in his hair (to make him feel better about his shorter hairstyle). So, Saturday AFTER Baseball Tryouts, I took him to the stylist and told her to make it more blended and not so elaborate. She put the cap on his head and pulled the little hairs through it... and colored it. Too cute! I have a picture of him in the salon getting it done, but it's on my phone, so I'll have to find the cords to move it onto the computer. LOL I don't really think that little kids (younger than 16) should get their hair colored or dyed or any of that, but it looks natural on Peyton and it's only a one time occasion. His hair gets more blonde in the summer! Anyway, look at his hair... it's faint and cute! Needless to say, he was happy and it took his mind off of the hair that was missing! LOL

23 Weeks Along... Doctor Appointment!
This morning (at 8AM!), I went to my 6 months check-up. Everything looked good... little Khloe is growing pretty steadily and is an active little girl. My doctor seems to think that she will weigh around 7.5 lbs when she is born. Peyton weighed 8 lbs 5 oz when he was born. I weighed 9 lbs 2 oz when I was born and Kevin weighed 6 lbs 4 oz when he was born, so we really don't know what she will weigh. I'm guessing she will be a little under 8 lbs (or hoping rather! LOL). Too early to tell. I'm thinking about getting the 3D ultrasound done on my 28th week. My doctor said the only difference in the 3D and the 4D is that the 4D picks up movement (like yawning and ect.) and freezes the movements. The 3D is about $150 and the 4D is $200, so is the yawning really worth the extra $50. LOL! We'll see. I'll let you know what we decide in a few weeks. I'm not quite 28 weeks, yet. We have our Pregnancy Photo Session scheduled with my favorite photographer/friend, Chandi, in May... but, I'm thinking that I might want to do it sooner before my face and fingers swell. That would not make a pretty picture. LOL My fingers are already starting to swell a little... gosh, can you imagine how bad it will be being pregnant in the dead heat of the summer. Yikes! I'm not sleeping very well... very uncomfortable. My back hurts all the time, too. This extra load is really taking a toll on my whimpy self. I should have lifted weights before getting pregnant. Ugh! I've had MAJOR acid reflux/backup lately - every single day (mostly at night - all night). It is really getting annoying. The acid burns my throat and chest so bad. :( No fun! Any suggestions on how to relieve that for good... It is so different being pregnant at 20 vs 30! Ugh. So, that's the scoop. :) I'll update you more as my pregnancy progresses! Have an amazing weekend... have you checked out this gorgeous weather!?! Yippee!
Here are some pictures of items that we have purchased already for Baby Khloe:
This is Khloe's Boppy Bouncer... cute!
This is some of the more modern colors designs that we have chosen for her nursery...
Here is a picture of all the adorable outfits Khloe has so far... she will be a happy girl!
This is the first outfit mommy bought Khloe (2-11-09)... from Belly Buttons Boutique!
This is the first outfit daddy bought Khloe (3-5-09)... from Dillards!
I think she'll like her parents' good taste! :o)
Also... Here are my two top choices for Khloe's Baby Bedding... Can't decide. I love them both! Which one do you like better??
Choice #1:
Choice #2:
See... they are both so cute... and I'm really having a hard time. As soon as I decide, I will have it made and it will take a couple of weeks to be delivered! Can't wait to see it!
