Yingst Family Gathering...

This weekend (Saturday) my mother and father-in-law hosted a small gathering of distant relatives (2nd and 3rd cousins of Kevin's dad). The purpose of the hot dog/marshmellow roast was to recognize Kevin's dad's cousin... she was in a horrific car accident in October 08 that should have killed her. However, her and her husband survived, but while in ICU they found out that she had cancer (both breast and colon cancer). She had to immediately begin Chemotherapy. We don't know Kevin's dad's cousins and distant relatives, but they were excited to have sort of a farewell party for her. We roasted hot dogs and have other items for a picnic and can't forget the smores. Yummy! LOL They finished the night off with music. Kevin's dad and his brothers/sisters are all very musically talented and can play a variety of instruments and sing to the heavens. Such talent they ALL inherited from his wonderful Grandpa Warren... who is loved and missed dearly! Kevin's first cousin Amanda was there along with her new baby Miles and her husband Matt. It was a fun night! Kevin snuck in a little basketball with the boys... lol! I just took it easy as a big pregnant woman. Ha!
