Every year, Peyton spends the 4th of July at his grandparents' house. They always have so many guests in town for the holiday. I decided to take Khloe that morning to see her grandparents and brother. We, also, wanted to see my sister and her kids (who were in town). My sister gave Khloe her belated birthday present to open (since Khloe's birthday was just a couple days ago). It was a cute gift! Thanks, Aunt T! It was good seeing them, while they were in town.

After a morning visit to my family, we headed to some of our most dear friends' Shrimp Boil at their home. It was fabulous! I hope they do it again, soon! It is always wonderful spending time with them... as we have been friends for so long and are the same as family. :)

We had so much fun with our friends! But, we left to meet Kevin's parents and Khloe to go watch the Fireworks show at our local park. We started off in one spot, but decided that we weren't going to be able to see very well, so when it started to get darker, we headed to a 3 level parking garage in our town and watched the show from the top. Smart choice! Khloe truly enjoyed watching all the fun splashes of color in the sky (even though she doesn't like the sound of firecrackers up close). Ha!
