This year, my husband's company held their Summer Regional Meetings in St. Louis.Their Summer Regionals always include family... where we can bring our children to enjoy the weekend activities and meetings. Peyton and Khloe love going every year... as they both have friends their ages in the region. It's always wonderful spending time with (what seems like family) friends in the region. We have all grown very close over the years and have watched our children blossom year to year. We stayed downtown, close to Busch Stadium, while we were in St. Louis.
The meetings usually are 3 days, crammed packed full of activities. We were privileged to get to hear the (CEO) Managing Partner of his company speak directly to our group in their home office. Kevin's company always provides kids' activities with childcare during the time we are there, which is wonderful. One of the nights, we got to sit in the box seats at Busch Stadium and watch the Cardinals vs Rangers game... The Cardinals didn't win, but it was still a great time! Peyton is at that age, where he doesn't want to be with his parents. So, he hung out with other teenagers (in the hotel) during our stay. Khloe made several little friends... and were they all glued to each other. So sweet! The other little girls were dragging Khloe around like a rag doll... she didn't mind... she was having fun! Ha!
Some of our own outside activities included exploring the Science Center, eating lunch in The Hill (true authentic Italian food), Town Square parks/sight seeing, St.Louis Arch, Cardinals Baseball game, Race Cars and more. The only activity we didn't get to achieve was shopping... but, we will conquer that next time we are in St.Louis.
We also spent a few days/nights at our good friends' estate, right outside Branson. Their home was amazing and we always appreciate the hospitality. Peyton was in awe of their home and decided he was going to be something important to get himself in their same position, in the future. High hopes and dreams... a wonderful mentality! I will post a few pictures of our time at their estate (home), too!
