Big Day for Peyton - Braces!! 8-8-2012

I cannot believe how fast my handsome little guy is growing! Wowsers! Okay, so unlike most kids, he actually WANTED braces. Our first consultation with his orthodontist was 3 years ago. We decided to wait until all of his baby teeth fell out on their own... No need to rush it... because we ONLY want braces ONE TIME! So, finally the 3rd visit with Dr. Smith proved to be the final consultation... Braces were scheduled to be put AFTER our trip to Riviera Maya & Cancun, Mexico (which happened to be right before school started back.

Riviera Maya, Mexico (Grand Velas) Family Trip 2012

We decided that we need to go to Mexico, yet again, as one of our two big annual family vacations. So, we stayed at one of our all-time FAVE hot spots in Mexico... The Grand Velas All-Inclusive 5-star Resort in Riviera Maya (outside of Cancun). Kevin and I decided that Khloe still wasn't quite old enough to enjoy a trip to Mexico... Too much of a wiggle worm. But, we did take our son, Peyton. This was Peyton's 3rd time to Mexico. He loved this resort so much... but he said he liked the west side of Mexico the best (with the mountains on one side and the beach on the other. ;) We extended into Cancun for the last part of our trip. We met Kevin's best friend, Christian, and his lovely fiance, Nirmala, there... We all had such a fabulous time together! Love them!!

We had such a wonderful time in Mexico!! Cannot wait to visit Mexico again in 2013 or so. Memories are the best!
